Shaftesbury Arts Centre have a lovely new dance studio, situated upstairs in their facility. The studio has a mirrored wall, fixed barres, Harlequin dance flooring and a sound system. There are stairs and a lift available along with toilet facilities.

We run classes on Monday afternoons and evenings during term time for Children age 4 (School Age) through to Adults.

Take part in private lessons from the comfort of your own home via zoom. These can be on a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups.

You don’t require a large space to dance in as the exercises/drills/sequences can be adapted to suit your space, so you can dance on a tap board, in your kitchen, lounge or even your bedroom! If you don’t own a pair of tap shoes or you do not have a suitable floor to dance with your tap shoes on you can wear a pair of trainers or a pair of hard-soled shoes instead alternatively if you have carpet then just a pair of socks will do.

ISTD Graded and Vocational Tap Classes for children and teens every Friday during Term Time at QE Leisure Centre. The centre has a variety of studios in which the classes are run alongside a variety of other classes.
